We Do What we Know

Founded By Charles & Crystal in 2016  the vision began. That vision was to offer custom metal fabrication and welding services without the mass manufacturing feel, not cutting corners or shortcut clients like most big shops tend to do, due to low profit margins and bad business practice.

Charles started his metal working career as a fabricator while in high school, that was 25 years ago, working for a fabrication shop welding water truck tanks, graduating and becoming a structural ironworker, getting to travel around the states. When it was time to settle down and have a family he came home and began working in local fabrication shops, building a variety of things such as ornamental railing and gates and custom fabrication and welding, until, 2016 when he became very jaded of the companies he was working for and their unethical business practices and lack of quality and customer service. (It became more important for those companies to cut corners and send a product out the door subpar because it was interupting their profit margin, they weren't properly estimating their projects and were competing with other companies to be the lowest bidder, in turn lowering the value of their products).

Hence, 83MetalCraft LLC was born. The vision was simple, offer welding and metal fabrication services to clients without compromising qualty or customer service, making everyone feel like a million bucks, "If something takes an extra 5 minutes to make right then do it!"

Business was good but the jaded feeling began to creep back in due to environmental moral value disagreements in Colorado and how he feels it was being pushed on him, his family, & community. So he began laying the foundation for an epic adventure. He did his research and found a goldilocks zone that could support his business, his family, and their values, and this is where Boise, Idaho came into play in 2021.

As part of the foundation, 83MetalCraft LLC began doing work in Boise, Idaho in 2021 part time to spread the word through quality metal fab  and customer service and social media networking (The Original 208 Contractors) to build a foundation strong enough to support a business and family move which ulitmately has happened, the local community of Treasure Valley, being great down to earth folks welcomed us with open arms and we now serve Idaho full time.

Crystal has 25 years experience of customer service in multiple industries in Las Vegas and Colorado, enough to know how folks should really be treated.
